Taylor Swift buys Family Historic Estate In Nashville
0Taylor Swift has a home in Beverly Hills and a place in Nashville (complete with human-sized birdcage) — but she’s added another piece of real estate to her collection after buying the Northumberland estate, a historic home in Nashville, for her family.
A real estate site says that Swift has purchased the 5,601 square-foot, 4 bedroom home for $2.5 million. The place was built in the 1930s by Guilford Dudley, Jr., a US ambassador, and was most recently owned by Universal Music Group chairman Luke Lewis.
The house was built in the 1930s. It’s called the Northumberland Estate.
Swift purchased a $1.4 million Nashville home for her parents in April, but sold that place in favor of this one. Check out a few photos of the place below (and more here):

Britney Spears’ Beverly Hills Home Is On The Market Again
0Via The Real Estalker:
Britney Spears has flopped her home in the Summit community of Beverly Hills back on the market yet again. Spears bought the home on what appears to have been a quick impulse back in 2007 during her more manic days and she’s been trying to sell off and on ever since. The home has been listed as high as $7.9 million last fall but now the six-bedroom villa is at a more realistic $6.499 million. Spears meanwhile has decamped to Calabasas when she’s not on tour. The new price means that she will likely lose money on the deal, Spears bought for $6.75 million when it was on the market for $7.2 million, but may be she’ll be glad to be rid of the home once it finally sells.
Latest Update: The house has still not sold, and the price has been slashed to $4.85 million.
According to People magazine, “The pop star, 26, has lived in the hilltop home for less than two years – and had to leave the house twice early this year to be forcibly hospitalized. Spears’s father Jamie, who remains in legal control of his daughter until Dec. 31, sought permission from a court in June to sell the home.”
Britney in fact wants a new starting and is planning a move to Calabasas, California, which is an hour’s drive north of Los Angeles.

Will & Jada Pinkett Smith’s 25,000 Sq Ft Mega Malibu Mansion
0According to Architectural Digest:
Many hands have left their mark on the home of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Hundreds of master woodworkers, plasterers, metalsmiths, stonemasons, and upholsterers contributed their expertise to this deeply personal project. “Everything needed to be done by hand,” Will says. “We wanted to feel the love and labor that went into every piece of this place.”
And you can. The 25,000-square-foot house has a surprising intimacy—a soul animated by the craftsmanship on display and the spirit of the celebrity power couple that live here with their children, Willow, Jaden, and Trey, Will’s son from his first marriage. “For Will and me this home was always a spiritual endeavor,” Jada says. “We’re very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.”
The Smiths’ domestic odyssey began when Will was working with costar Gene Hackman filming the 1998 thriller Enemy of the State. “Gene loves Santa Fe,” Will says. “He has a house there, and he always talked about it. And then Wild Wild West came up, and we were shooting outside of Santa Fe. So I thought, Let me go see Gene’s house.” He admired what he saw. “I just loved that adobe flavor and feeling.”

The house stands on a 150 acres of land estate!

Natalie Portman’s $2.2 Million House in Long Island
0Star Wars princess Natalie Portman is selling her modest, 7-room Long Island home for $2.2 million. She has lived on Long Island since she was a child, and in this home for the past five years. I love when celeb houses hit the market because then we all get to peek inside and see how they live! I don’t know where I imagined Natalie Portman would live, but it wasn’t here. It doesn’t look like she actually spends much time in this house, but maybe she doesn’t. She also owns a condo in Manhattan with a view of the Hudson. It’s not really how you’d expect a movie star to live, is it? Of course, maybe she doesn’t think so, either, which may be why she’s moving!

Born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Matthew Perry was raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where he became a top-ranked junior tennis player in Canada. However, after moving to Los Angeles at the age of 15 to live with his father (actor John Bennett Perry), he became more interested in acting. In addition to performing in several high school stage productions, he remained an avid tennis player. Perry ranked 17th nationally in the junior singles category and third in the doubles category. Upon graduating from high school, Perry intended to enroll at the University of Southern California.
